Carl Twarog teaches animation, game design and simulation in the School of Art & Design at East Carolina University. He earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Design from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, and a BA in Design Studies from the SUNY Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. Twarog is currently engaged in research applying game design techniques to developing teaching tools for medical students. He also develops robotics for art using single board computers and microcontrollers. He is seen in the picture above with high school students, as part of a 17 person team teaching a two-week-long advanced robotics camp in Gulu, Uganda in January 2015 sponsored by Oysters and Pearls.
